Due to recent developments a decision has been taken by the club and considered by the league to the effect that Spofforth will fulfill their existing fixtures in the 1st Division but will not, for this season at least, field a 2nd XI.
There will be no junior training on Sunday 26/2 and Sunday 5/3. We will resume on Sunday 12/3 at 4pm.
Our junior training programme commences Sunday 5th February at Boston Spa School Sports Hall.
Players in the Under 7 and Under 9 age groups (school years 1 – 4) will train from 4pm to 5pm. Players in the Under 11 to Under 15 groups will then train from 5pm to 6pm. We will be running sessions until 26th March.

The club’s Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday 14th November 2016 from 8.00pm. All members are encouraged to come along and get involved in the running of the club.
Our Junior Presentation will be on Friday 23rd September at 6.30 at the club. We will be having a fun quiz before we move onto appreciating the efforts of all our players from Under 7 to Under 15.

Spofforth CC has arranged a Sportsman’s Dinner on Friday 28 October 2016 in the Wharfe Suite at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate. Our guest speakers are Arnie and Ryan Sidebottom of Yorkshire County Cricket Club and England and David Kendall, the York Bank Manager.
